An Indian fusion wedding in New Orleans

Nina & Rob were planning a celebration in Rob's hometown of New Orleans while also honoring Nina's Indian roots. We were largely inspired by an Indo-French celebration mostly in textile patterns and heavy door motifs. As far as events, they were planning six across four venues! This celebration included a Sangeet, Baraat, Hindu Ceremony, Exchange of Vows, a Second Line and a reception.

Nina & Rob's wedding invitation featured a navy and fuchsia letterpress design inspired by ornate doors and Indian patterns. A coordinating Indian block print inspired pattern hid a New Orleans Fleur-de-lis on the belly band and Sangeet invitation. The belly band and Sangeet invitation were letterpressed in antique gold on sapphire paper and complemented the 2-color reply postcards and schedule of events. Matching navy outer envelopes were letterpressed with the return address in antique gold and were hand calligraphed by Katrina Lariza Centeno

Event stationery included Hindu ceremony programs, custom To-Go cups (a must in NOLA!), cocktail napkins, silkscreened Second Line cotton handkerchiefs, event signage and dessert table tags and thank you notes.
