At Niru & Baku, we believe that a thoughtfully sent invitation is the mark of a gracious host. Designing and producing custom invitation suites for couples in love is one of our favorite things to do. We also love helping our clients announce births and other special milestone events in a memorable and tangible way.

Niru & Baku Creative Director Priya Matta is obsessed with thoughtful details in elegantly designed wedding and personal stationery.

After growing up on the North Shore of Massachusetts and attending college in Buffalo, New York, Priya Matta moved to Manhattan to work for Walter Bernard-Milton Glaser. She promptly fell in love with the city. For 12 years she worked for Tiffany & Co. as an Art Director, designing everything from advertising campaigns in the New York Times and Vogue, customer-facing catalogs and formal invitations and event details for private gala and in-store events.

After years of creating engraved and letterpressed invitations and stationery for Tiffany, she decided to focus on Niru & Baku full time. She loves meeting people and help them celebrate their important milestone events.
